What is the best way to prepare a garden for lawn?
I moved into my new house last year and the garden was already overgrown, I strimmed the grass down but then left it because I was busy doing the interior of the house. Now it's overgrown again and I have decided to tackle it.
Right at this minute, I have a couple of guys from a local tool hire place ripping up all the weeds and nettles and leaving bare soil. However, there is still a few weeds and stuff in the soil, but they've been pulled up.
What should be the next step once everything is pulled up, to prepare the garden for a lawn, also will the weed bits in the soil grow back if they're not pulled out completely?
Many thanks in advance.
