They are special tools that are needed and the adhesive that is used cannot be purchased unless you are certified in auto glass replacement. In other words, the newer windshields are glued in and not wedged in like the early 80's and cannot be done by yourself.
I didn’t go to any of the food or lab tours, but I heard some of the lab tours were fun (the DiVE into Alcohol and RTI International tours looked cool). Instead, I went to the Blogging 102 and Podcasting 101 workshops. Both were informative; I found out about a few tools/resources I didn’t know about at the Blogging 102 workshop. In retrospect, I should have attended the workshop “Repositories for Fun and Profit” as many of the Tweets coming from attendees looked interesting. (aa)

People can be very particular about tools, have definite preferences. I'd rather buy my own tools unless someone knows exactly what I want. If you can pick his brain without him figuring it out–maybe be there when he looks through a tool catalogue or something like that–pay attention when he drools over something in a store–you can get things you know he wants. Otherwise, I might get a fabulous workbench and some good lighting installed, and give him a gift certificate or maybe a prepaid credit card so he can choose his own stuff.

You probably need some torx bits and a 10mm socket as well as a panel puller and a Philips (large) screwdriver. A good set of picks will help and why would you try to do this yourself? This is not a fun job, and if you screw it up, your replacing the hole door.

The same sculpture tools that are used now and were used in the times of the Greeks and Romans, and by masons doing decorations on old churches and cathedrals. You need to google 'sculpture tools' and get a list, and the curators of sculpture at the British Museum or V&A would probably have information or links for you. The making of an object to be real would be 'skill'. Some people have it naturally or develop it, and some don't (I tried sculpture at Camberwell School of Art and failed miserably).
This is my /personal/ take on OpenFF. I’m not speaking for anyone else who might have an interest in OpenFF (or the ideas behind OpenFF). But if I want to see anything come of OpenFF, I think simplifying is helpful– use what I already know rather than creating an arbitrary learning curve.
who the heck is cutting your hair at this time
that was a right piss take. i remember now she got given the clear and then gets hit by a car. That is just sheer irony.
of course, you should put like newspaper on the floor to keep it from getting paint on it and put tape around the edges to keep the bottom part from getting paint on it as well.
1) Allow the Wrestler he/she is facing to beat them to a pulp, then sneak in a dirty win or cheat to win. During the match, use dirt tatics, such as taking the padding of the turn buckle, using weapons when the referee isn't looking or things like that. Cheating i think really annoys people, people hate that and if you cheat to win then you have get the heat. I think having help also allows the heel to generate more heat, or mocking the Wrestler during the match by making fun of their gimmick, move set, ect.
2) As one person said, making fun of the city they are in, that doesn't always work though. Sure make fun of that city but that only gets ONE city to hate you not the entire audience. It an easy way to get heat so you want to say or do something that will generate real hatred. Attacking a popular Wrestler, look at Edge, he did just that and he was a major heel. I remember reading how Sgt. Slaughter made anti-american promos during the guld war, it was a cheap but very effective way to get heat. I also agree with the first guy, be self righteous, many people (including me) hate that. Being full of yourself but in a 'bad way' also generates heat. I think you need to say something that will really offend the fans. Kinda like when Batista said Cena fans are under 15, even though he is a face, he got ALOT of heat for that. Just something that will really strike them and hit them hard. It depends on what you say and how you say it.
I think instead of doing short term things to get hated, do something long term, recently like Vickie Guerero has done. She got boo'd at first, hm okay, but after a while she got boo'd so much she developed that awful catch phrase 'excuse me' because the heat was so bad she couldn't get her words out. Long term is always better than Short Term.
I think today, its alot harder for Wrestlers to be heels, some get cheared anyway – look at Kane. He is meant to be a heel but people still chear anyway.True heels can still do their job though because true heels are screwing the faces out of championships for their own gain and they can often be hated by helping the boss. Its so much harder to get over as a heel, especially after the Attitude Era were people screamed and cheared for the heels.
Hi bbaloghe! ! You are of course right. A good CNC programmer/machinist can make parts that would be impossible to make manually, at least where milling is concerned. As you say, it is such a shame that the skills to do things manually is disappearing, as, unless you can do these things manually, you will always have an enormous “hole” in your knowledge base. CNC is very interesting though, and from the quick look at a CNC lathe in action I had once, it is amazing what can be done!!

Without knowing the size of the project, it is difficult to know the range of tools needed. But I would suggest you take the basics, like : a hand saw, wood chisels (1/2" to 1"), hammer or wooden mallet, ruler, square, sanding block (with medium sandpaper – 120G), a pair of wood clamps, pencil. If you have a small power drill, take it too, with some drill bits. Hope this helps. Good luck!! Oh, I nearly forgot. Do you have a plane? Not the one that flies. The one that shaves timber. If so, take it too !!!

to avoid the mangled metal drive the screwdriver through the filter near either end of the filter…..it will reduce the strength of the filter less and give you a better chance……
the belt trick works really well…….wrap the belt around the filter and then twist a large screwdriver in the belt to tighten it and use the screwdriver twisted into the belt to hold it tight to the filter and for leverage to turn it………

The sight of their own blood is important to some people who self-harm
Christian JarrettBPS Research Digest
The sight of their own blood plays a key role in the comfort that some non-suicidal people find in deliberately cutting themselves. That’s according to a new study by Catherine Glenn and David Klonsky that suggests it is those self-harmers who have more serious psychological problems who are more likely to say the sight of blood is important. There are plenty of anecdotal reports hinting at the importance of the sight and taste of blood to self-harmers, as well as references in popular music. ‘Ye……..

Obsidian is very fragile, but you might try to rough cut the desired shape and tumble polish it to give it is final finish. A wet grinding wheel may help you to get the shape you want.
If you have large quantities you may want to get a few pounds broken into small pieces and with a tumbler you can polish a whole batch of them. Obsidian is very hard to get a nice finish, but if you do use the tumbling method you have to use all the same material to tumble. If you put any other stone such as quartz you will have scratches on the obsidian. Tin Oxide is a good polish for obsidian.
Hope this helps.

Start off by buying a good sprayer and then spray weed killer on your lawn once a week for the next three weeks. Don't spray if it just rained or is going to rain in the following 24 hours. Killing off those weeds first is a giant leap toward building a new lawn because the new grass won't have to compete with the weeds for food, water and light.
Once you see the weeds really dying, then go find a rental store that has a power seeder. These units have a gas engine on them that drives the wheels and also drive a series of slitting blades underneath the deck. There is a compartment for the seed to go in and a guage to set the rate of delivery of that seed. Before using this machine, set your lawnmower to its lowest cutting height and mow your lawn.
Then use the power seeder the following way. Make a full set of passes across your lawn from east to west and west to east. Then go north to south and south to north in the next series of side by side passes. How you start and how you finish isn't the issue. What matters is that you cover the lawn area twice from two different directions at minimum to get as much seed into the ground as possible.
The slitting knives open the ground up and the seed falls into those slits and a trailing mat closes the slits up. This is much easier than broadcasting the seed and then covering it with a light layer of top dressing. The most important thing after the seed is in the ground is to keep it wet all the time so it will sprout and grow. Don't even think about cutting that new lawn until it is at least six inches high and then cut it down to three inches, no lower.
If you are near a farming community that has a seed store, go there to buy your seed. It will be cheaper and they often have pure seed in bulk. Tell them what you are doing and they can come up with a blend of seed suitable for your needs. Depending upon when you intend to do this and the weather that is present, you may want them to include a "nurse crop" to help your lawn get established. Nurse crops are annuals not perrenials. They grow fast, provide shade from the hot sun and are gone the next year.
Do not spray for anything after you seed or you will kill the seed. Forget the gimmicks such as dethatchers and aerators. They're mostly a "make work" project for the lawn care biz and won't do as much for you as heavy seeding. Once the lawn is up and growing use a slow release fertilizer such as 10-10-10 or 10-30-30. What you want is strong root growth, not blade growth.
As for tools, make sure you have enough hose and sprinklers to keep this lawn WET, WET, WET. I cannot stress this enough. I am not telling you to drown it but if you let the seed dry out, it won't sprout. And once it does sprout, water is essential to make it grow or it will go dormant and die on you.
You could cut a vein to deep, then bleed to death.
