FRANKFURT (MarketWatch) — Belgium’s Nyrstar NV said Monday it had agreed to acquire 1.25 million tons of zinc in concentrate from Talvivaara Sotkamo Ltd., a member of the Talvivaara Mining Company Plc , the Finnish-based, U.K.-listed miner, for a purchase price of $335 million. Talvivaara will deliver 100% of its zinc concentrate production to Nyrstar until the 1.25 million tons of zinc in concentrate has been delivered. Based on Talvivaara’s planned production, the parties expect a ramp-up to approximately 90,000 tons per year of zinc in concentrate by 2012, with deliveries over a period of 10 to 15 years. In addition to the $335 million purchase price, Nyrstar will pay Talvivaara an extraction and processing fee of 350 British pounds per ton of zinc in concentrate delivered. Also, until the later of the seventh anniversary of the agreement or delivery of 600,000 MT of zinc in concentrate, Nyrstar will pay to Talvivaara 10% of the zinc price exceeding $2,500 per ton (up to $3,000…

You can also buy "fresh" not from concentrate, which is best as far as "bottled" juice is concerned. But I love fresh squeezed OJ from Valencia oranges, which I make every day. Completely different flavor. Don't use Navel oranges for juice, they are better for eating.
I second whoever said start small; don't overwhelm yourself. Pick a small area, dig out all the moss. Turn over the soil with a pitchfork. Add manure. If you have a lot of clay in your soil, you will also want to add topsoil. If your soil is loose or sandy, you will want to add peat or spagnum moss. Assuming this is your first garden, stick to plants that are super-easy to grow and don't need alot maintaince. Check the tags on the plants and get ones that will like the microclimate in which you'll be placing them – ie, if your area is shady, you will want plants that say "part shade." And if something doesn't work – don't sweat it! Just try something else
You may want to contact your local botanical society, or any local university's botanical or horticultural programs for recommendations as well.

You can build simple drainage holes – here in the U.S. I rented an auger, which is basically a gas-powered post hold digger – but however you do it, dig a hole about 3 feet deep and 1-2 sq. foot wide. and fill the bottom with small pea size gravel…this will give your water a place to drain – you can build as many of these as you want – in areas that have the most water, just make certain that there is a downgrade of the land – so it will seep into these holes – sometimes just planting more plants works, as they drink up the water.
1/4 of inch of water in the morning is all your grass needs. watering in mid day you will need a lot more because it is hot out and you will burn the grass. If you water at night the grass is suspetiable to diseases. My mother is a horticulturist, I never water anything after 8am. That means during them darn hot summer months I am up at 5 am. I have a lot of plants
. The grass I don't really worry about if I did my bill would be $1,000 a month. Good luck with your research.
same here

The dashing actor John Forsythe, who played Blake Carrington on Dynasty and was Charlie’s voice on Charlie’s Angels, passed away yesterday at age 92, after a battle with cancer. The NY Times reports that Forsythe (born John Lincoln Freund) “graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in Brooklyn” and dropped out of UNC Chapel Hill “after three years because of a particularly successful summer job as an announcer for the Brooklyn Dodgers at Ebbets Field. People liked his voice so much that he easily moved into radio acting.” He also was an original members of the Actors Studio and performed on Broadway as well as TV, but chose to concentrate on TV: “I’ve had a good time. But if I had been willing to starve so that I could play Hamlet, I might have been a better actor than I am today,” he once said.
