What Do I Need To Make My Lawn Look Nice?

I rent and the land lord kind of takes care of the lawn but I would like to take better care of it, however I am clueless with lawn and garden. All summer last year it was brown and rough and we had these little plants that look almost like clovers but they spread allll over the yard. They are already coming in. I live in Wisconsin and My dog does use this yard to play and go potty but only along the fence is where he uses the bathroom. I need to know what seed and tools i need! thx!

I agree that the Bible verse would be the best choice. You can never get enough of this one. The kind of love this verse talks about is a process, and what marriage is all about.
I took the liberty to look it up for you, along with providing the link in the source box where I found it.
1 Corinthians 13
Love
If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
Hope this helps.
what program did you use?
hahaahahhahaha, that’s one of the funniest comments i’ve read on youtube.
The Weather. Consider the season you intend on being there.

As the manufacturer, you will need to create a "certificate of origin." It's just a form and a fee.
you should take everything out first. rake and level the ground , add fertilizer to soil then plant the bluegrass
okay, I asked on mari’s facebook if they will be on pom5 and they do think that both will be on..
Moles leave giant hills of dirt. Voles just leave holes in the ground.
Just watched 'The Proposal' (Movie); twas nice though it was also quite silly
You really can't treat Japanese beetles unless everyone around you is treating them as well.. For the lawn, treat with triazicide or sevin in the spring and now. The beetles will be laying eggs and the insecticide should keep their eggs from developing and causing grubs to feast on your lawn. Once the beetles are hatched, they will eat and eat and then lay eggs. Not much stopping the adults.. kill the grubs! (helps prevent mole problems, too)
Aerate in September and apply turf food and kill broadleaf weeds. An application of gypsum is probably a good idea at this time, assuming you have clay soil. Check you soil pH to see if you need buffering (lime or sulfur to raise or lower pH) Apply these at this time. If you soil is heavy clay, you might add some organic compost or sphagnum peat to help the structure of your soil.
Don't bother de-thatching. The nitrogen in the fall fertilization and the introduction of air to the soil from the aeration will kick start biological activity that will break down most of the dead grass, etc.
In the spring, apply a turf fertilizer with crabgrass pre-emergent. Use one with a controlled release formula over the "4 step" program.
Through the summer, keep the grass watered and spot treat weeds with weed-b-gone..
Good luck!
Impatiens are a good bet. While they are not specifically perennials, they are low-light plants and do well indoors — in fact, indoors they are almost a perennial. If they start to get a little leggy, just pinch off, stick the stem in water or dirt for a new plant, and the pinches stem will produce more stems and new blooms. They come in a broad range of colors (easily started from seeds, also), and the double flowered variety look like little roses.
Try some Impatiens. I have 2-4 pots going every winter (ready starts for the outdoor plants) and they do add some nice sparks of color.
Coleus comes in a variety of colorful leaf-shades and shapes, but they don't produce much in the way of pretty flowers (if anything, indoors) — just hanging leaf structure. While coleus can frequently do well in low-light conditions (they actually do not like full sun), they are prone to leggy conditions.
Other than that, if you don't have good light, you are not going to have successful, flowering plants — particularly aromatic ones — without an artificial light to help them along.
If you choose to get an artificial grow light, you might be able to get a Gardenia acclimated. Gardenias can be forced to bloom twice a year, and the fragrance is heady. They can be troublesome to grow, so if you decide to go that route, do a Google search for indoor growing tips.
I love it! I’ve to try it soon
Get over it.
If you love her you love HER, including the wart
What a good idea! But now I’m hungry…
